Functional Products
Functional Capacity / Abilities Evaluation (FCE / FAE):
Viewpoint’s Functional Capacity Evaluations are performed by a certified functional evaluators. Reporting consists of a complete list of functional abilities/limitations, history, assessment behaviors, subjective reports, and objective results including validity and consistency measures. Single and Multiple Day Assessments available.
Independent Medical Evaluation with Functional Testing:
Independent combination report including an IME performed by a licensed physician as well as functional testing performed by a certified functional evaluator using highly objective functional testing equipment. Functional results assist the Physician in formulating a more defined conclusion.
Cost of Future Care (CFC):
Cost of Future Care Assessments consist of a comprehensive report based on a full functional assessment, in home evaluation and consultation with involved health professionals, to determine an appropriate plan of future care with all associated costs.
Job / Physical Demands Analysis (JDA / PDA):
A Job Demands Analysis consists of an onsite assessment and a full report of physical demands required to perform the essential tasks of a specified job.
Functional Work Evaluation:
Viewpoint’s Functional Work Evaluation is an independent combination report including Functional Testing and a Job Demands Analysis to allow for an accurate comparison of functional abilities and specific job demands.
Return to Work Implementation:
Viewpoint’s Return to Work Implementation assists with coordination and implementation of a gradual return to work plan. This service requires current functional abilities and job demands/modified duties to be determined prior to the Return to Work Implementation.
Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluation:
Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluations are provided by a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant. This assessment with report provides a comprehensive objective review of an individual’s employability before and after the development of disability. Psychometric and vocational testing is included as part of the evaluation process.
Post Offer Employment Testing (Functional POET):
Post Offer Employment Testing provides a direct comparison of physical abilities to a specific job requirements in order to determine a job match.
Ergonomic Assessment:
The Ergonomic Assessment is an in-depth analysis of a workstation. Recommendations on how to improve the workstation and tool design is provided, as well as identification of risk factors present and suggestions on how to minimize the risk of injury.
In-Home Assessment:
Viewpoint’s In-Home Assessment determines an individual’s ability to perform activities of daily living, self care and home housekeeping/maintenance tasks.
Document Review:
Certified Functional Evaluator reviews a file and generates a report based on the provided documentation, without performing an assessment.
