Functional And Medical Evaluation (FAME):
In response to client and expert feedback, Viewpoint has developed a combined Functional And Medical Evaluation (FAME). The FAME consists of an Independent Medical Evaluation (IME) performed by a licensed physician, with the addition of objective Functional Testing (FT) performed by a certified functional evaluator using a combination of Matheson approved tests and ARCON or Hanoun testing systems. For our clients needing both medical/clinical and functional assessments, our FAME product provides a defensible, comprehensive and uniform physician opinion, considering both medical/clinical and functional evidence.
Cost of Future Care (CFC):
A Cost of Future Care (CFC) assessment is also known as a Life Care Plan. This comprehensive assessment involves the completion of a Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), an In-Home Assessment, medical documentation review and consultation with health professionals involved in the ongoing care of the individual. The final product is a life care plan which outlines the current and future needs, with associated costs, for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health needs.
Functional Work Evaluation (FWE):
A Functional Work Evaluation (FWE) consists of a comprehensive on-site Job Demands Analysis (JDA) followed by a clinically based Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), each performed by a Functional Evaluator. This combination assessment enables the evaluator to view an individual’s specific job requirements, then simulate those requirements when testing the individual’s functional capacity, and ultimately make more accurate and definitive return to work recommendations.
